Berrima Scout camp is in Berrima, about 30 minutes south of Campbelltown. A great spot for a camp, though the weather is a bit icy in winter. There is a creek alongside the site, with canoe hire available. The site marker shows the start of the road, and the camp is at the end of that road. The camp is on Apple Street, Berrima, Off Old Mandemar Road (1km down river from Berrima Village). |

Camp Coutts is a couple of minutes south of Waterfall railway station. It can be walked to from the station via a bush track for most of the distance, taking about 10-20 minutes. The site marker should be at the Campsite entry Camp Website link Driving from Sydney, pass the campsite and take the RIGHT HAND turnoff, then the RIGHT one again, to head you back towards Sydney. The Camp entrance is on your left soon after the mild curve once the lanes merge. |

Located just outside the entrance to the Cataract Dam picnic grounds, Cataract Scout Camp can accommodate a small group in tents or bunks, or a Jamboree of 10,000 Scouts. Either travel there from areas east in Sydney to the TOP of Bulli pass, and then turn towards Campbelltown, OR take the M5 to Campbelltown first and take the turnoff to Appin, then head towards Bulli. Camp Windeyer (Frank Windeyer Memorial Camp) is open to Scout and Guide groups, and community non-profit organisations. It is not accessible directly by car as there is no road access to the actual camp ground. Access is by boat from the private property parking area on the western side of Still Creek. Where is it? About midway between Galston Gorge and Berowra Waters on Berowra Creek, 12 hectares of land bordered by Berowra Creek on the east, Still Creek on the south and west and steep hills on the north. Mount Kiera Scout camp is probably the most picturesque camp in or around Sydney. It is not far from the Mount kiera Lookout, just north of Wollongong. There is also a Girl Guide camp further down in the valley. The camp's access road is sometimes easy to miss when heading downhill from the lookout. Camp website link |
